About me

My love for stories started young, reading picture books, immersing myself in imaginary tales with stuffed toys, and torturing virtual people on Sims due to their various fictional sins. From there I started writing, first self-insert stories about myself with magical powers, and now complex fantasy series with chaotic characters.

I’m originally from Jersey (no, not New Jersey, but the original Jersey) and I’ve spent the past decade and a half enjoying the far greater weather in Queensland, Australia. When I’m not writing, you can find me attempting terrible paintings, lawyering-it-up in my day job, and playing board games a tad too competitively with friends and family.

My obsessions include: coffee; books; the tv shows Merlin, Lucifer and 911; defamation law (especially if it involves celebrities); cosy video games; misusing semi-colons; and my dog, Lucy.
